SYSTEM DESCRIPTION The new RADGIL 2 consists of a shielded chamber with a mounting system for the materials to be processed, a special high-frequency X-ray generator, and an LCD user interface for entering procedure data and displaying relevant information.
EASE OF USE AND SAFETY The control panel has an ergonomic design, is simple, fast, and convenient to use. It features a user-friendly touchscreen and an intuitive menu. Users are identified using a smart card or password with three levels of security: Regular User, Administrator, Technical Support. To ensure the safety of the procedure, the Regular User is allowed to start the procedure but has limited access to setting parameters.
The specially designed rotating chamber allows simultaneous processing of 4/6 containers (up to 1800 ml per procedure), irradiating them as uniformly as possible, preventing platelet aggregation. The chamber can be removed, and the irradiator can be used for other purposes. Additionally, a barcode scanner for containers and a label printer with processing parameters are provided. A large touchscreen monitor displays all system operations: system power-on, operator identification via smart card, heating request, emergency signaling, processing status. |
