Structure and System
The external structure and doors made of sheet steel are painted or plastic-coated and galvanized. Insulation made of polyurethane with a density of 40 kg/m³ and a thickness of 60 mm. The inner chamber and shelves are made of AISI 304 stainless steel; with rounded edges. Transparent doors allow observation of the platelets without changing the internal temperature. The doors lock with a key to ensure maximum security. All incubators are easy to clean and disinfect.

Heating with special heating elements with low thermal density for maximum temperature stability; cooling with a special evaporator designed by KW; all heat exchangers are placed in a zone separated from the inner chamber to create very uniform temperature regulation inside the incubator.

Temperature regulation is controlled by a high-performance screw fan. The cooling system consists of an air-cooled condenser with a hermetic compressor scheme and is fully hermetic, operating very quietly (<60 dB). The incubator is capable of functioning correctly even at very high ambient temperatures (above +32°C) and in poorly ventilated environments. Condensed water is collected and evaporated by a special device.

The refrigerants used are non-toxic, non-flammable, non-explosive, and particularly environmentally friendly (ODP = 0). The overheating protection system complies with DIN 12880 with a separate sensor (protection class 3.1) and with heating shutdown in case of failure for maximum safety.

An electronic digital temperature control system with a microprocessor, I-KW SMART CONTROLLER for programming and controlling temperature; displays the operating conditions of the incubator, set and actual temperature, builds temperature graphs, and displays a lot of other information.

Compatibility, Traceability, and Safety
Connection via a series of standard devices; USB port, SD card slot and SIM card, WiFi connection, Ethernet, RS 485 port with Modbus protocol.
I-KW graphical video interface

Display for setting and reading temperature and humidity values on a 7-inch color touch TFT screen; ARM 9 microprocessor technology running on Linux OS; touch menu with multiple windows and temperature graphs.

On/Off: user-controlled access via an electronic key with a password.

Control System
Monitoring, registration, supervision, complete tracking of any parameters and events, full communication with the environment, very high operational and access security. Use of two independent RTD Pt 100 Ohm probes: one for temperature signaling and the other for regulation. Automatic temperature regulation and signaling; real-time registration of operational variables on an SD card; USB interface on the front panel for downloading
thermographic data and updates; Ni-MH buffer battery, backup power, and recharging circuit (48 hours autonomy).
Setting parameter values and alarm thresholds using an electronic key with a password - this protects against intrusions, accidental errors, and better traceability!

Alarm
Audio-visual alarm for minimum/maximum temperature inside the incubator; Audio-visual alarm for power failure; Alarm for open doors; Alarm for probe failure.

Each alarm is automatically recorded: HT (High T), LT (Low T), power failure, critical temperature alarm, humidity; day/month/year/time (minutes for alarm start); duration of alarm (for HT and LT) day/month/year/time (minutes for fade start)! The alarm is audio-visual, but the sound can be turned off using a button on the panel. The sound alarm is delayed when the device is powered on and when the doors are opened. The delay is programmable. The visual alarm is always active.

Door opening: Memory registration: number of openings per day, number of critical openings, total time with doors open.

MIXERS

Structure and System
Linear mixers KWAP48 (48 containers - 8 shelves), KWAP54 (54 containers - 9 shelves), KWAP96 (96 containers - 16 shelves), KWAP 108 (108 containers - 18 shelves) and model KWAP 180 (180 containers - 18 shelves) allow organizing the storage of platelets in plastic containers.
All shelves are made of AISI 304 stainless steel. Each mixer has a variable motion and operates quietly and reliably thanks to runners with linear bearings. The upper part moves side to side with a stroke of 16 mm, at a maximum frequency of 116 strokes. Each shelf has an "open" surface for ventilation.

Each shelf can be pulled out to access it while the motor is running, without causing inconvenience for shaking the platelets. Additionally, each shelf has a rear stopper to prevent accidental exit from the runners and ensures an almost horizontal position suitable for loading containers without user assistance. When the shelf needs to be completely pulled out for cleaning, it must be lifted to unlock.
The control panel is located on the lower front part of the device.

The mixer has its own power supply unit and power plug for connecting to the appropriate KW incubator or another thermostatic device. The front panel has a main switch with a light indicator.

Alarm
All mixers are equipped with a motion alarm using a special sensor located inside the mixer itself. If mixing is interrupted, an alarm is activated in the incubator for maximum safety of the platelets. The alarm is turned off when the incubator doors are open, and the mixer movement is stopped for the operator's safety.
