The plasma sterilization method is the most modern method for sterilizing medical devices and surgical instruments, which is also the most cost-effective, environmentally safe for both the environment and service personnel, and does not require special requirements for the premises in which it is operated. The sterilizing agent here is 50% hydrogen peroxide, which, after being sprayed in the sterilization chamber under negative pressure, transitions to a plasma state due to electronic conversion, and after the sterilization process is completed, decomposes into water and oxygen. The entire sterilization process occurs in a dry environment under vacuum, resulting in no harmful residues.

The use of the STERILMED plasma sterilizer is the most gentle method for sterilizing medical products made from materials sensitive to high temperatures and moisture, such as optical devices, flexible and rigid endoscopes, microsurgical instruments, endoprostheses, surgical and laparoscopic instruments, products for endovascular interventions, light guides, probes, sensors, and other medical products.
