The UVT-B-AR box for sterile work is used for clean handling of DNA samples. It provides protection against contamination.
All models of boxes are tabletop, made of a metal frame, glass, and a working surface made of stainless steel.
The box is equipped with one open UV lamp installed at the top of the box. UV radiation disinfects the working surface, inactivating DNA/RNA fragments within 15–30 minutes. A digital timer controls the duration of direct ultraviolet exposure. A daylight lamp provides illumination of the workspace.
The box is equipped with a bactericidal flow UV air recirculator AR, which ensures continuous disinfection inside the box during operation. Recommended for use with DNA/RNA amplicons.
The UV air recirculator AR consists of a UV lamp, a fan, and a dust filter housed in a special casing, meaning that personnel working with the box are not exposed to UV radiation. The activated recirculator maximizes the density of UV rays, which is quite effective for inactivating DNA/RNA, while pumping 100 volumes of the box per hour, creating constant aseptic working conditions inside the box.
Special tables for boxes on wheels (with motion lock) with a pull-out drawer are also available:
T-4, for standard-sized boxes.
